Centennial Celebration


Enter the Centennial Photo Contest

The Centennial Celebration Office is pleased to announce the “Centennial Photo Contest.”

UTEP students, faculty, staff and alumnus are encouraged to participate in the contest.

Winners will be featured in the last Centennial Exhibit Series that celebrates UTEP’s Centennial Celebration. The winning photographs will be on display inside the Centennial Musuem on the UTEP campus.

It is an opportunity for the UTEP community and El Paso community to participate in the celebration. This photo contest aims to capture UTEP during its Centennial Celebration and its connection to the Paso del Norte Region.

Submissions will be accepted Aug. 1 through Sept. 26, 2014.

Dec. 12 ~ Winter Commencement will conclude the Centennial Celebration festivities. The Commencement ceremonies will take place at the Don Haskins Center on the UTEP campus.

Sept. 5 ~ UTEP fans across the borderland were invited to celebrate the new school year and Miner football season during Minerpalooza 2014.

Opera Bhutan

Aug. 30 ~ On Saturday, Aug. 30, Opera Bhutan delighted about 6,000 people with its unprecedented combination of Bhutanese culture and Western operatic performance.
